Is the free card really free? What is the catch?
It is free, built for you, and stays free. The card carries a small "Card by Weir Digital Media" co-brand — that is the trade. If you later want lead capture, a catalogue or your own domain, those are the paid tiers, published below. No surprise invoices.
What does "AI-invisible" mean?
When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity "best restaurant in Jávea?", these systems can only recommend businesses they can actually read — structured data, consistent contact details, machine-readable pages. We scored 1,176 local businesses for AI-search readiness; 805 of them (68%) score so low they effectively do not exist in those answers. The card publishes your details in the structured formats these systems read.
How is this different from Linktree?
Linktree is do-it-yourself and gates lead capture, analytics and logo removal behind paid plans (Pro moved to $15/mo in late 2025, and sales still carry a percentage fee on most plans). The WDM card is done-for-you, flat-priced with no per-sale cut, and the paid tiers add things link-in-bio tools do not have at that price: product catalogue with prices, booking calendar, multilingual switcher, your own domain.
What is an NFC card and do I need one?
A physical card with a chip — tap it on a phone and your digital card opens. No app needed. One is included with the Mid and High tiers; extras are €35–49 each, programmed to a stable address so updating your card content never requires a reprint. You do not need one — the QR code does the same job — but in person, the tap lands well.
Can I cancel? Is there a contract?
Monthly, no minimum term, cancel any time. If you cancel a paid tier the card drops back to the free tier rather than disappearing — your QR codes and printed materials keep working.
I already have a website. Why would I need this?
The card is not a website replacement — it is the scannable, tappable front door: one short link for your window sticker, WhatsApp, Instagram bio and invoices, kept current in one place. If you do not have a website, the card is the fastest credible stand-in, and the High tier (your own domain, white-label) is a genuine first web presence.
Are the menu prices in the demo cards real?
No — and they are flagged as samples on the demo cards themselves. The Posidonia demos use the business's real logo, bio and social profiles (from public sources) to show what each tier looks like, but the menu items and hours on the Mid and High demos are illustrative samples to demonstrate the catalogue feature.
What happens to the leads my card captures?
They are yours. Enquiries from your card's form go straight to you (email, with optional WhatsApp/Telegram routing), and you can export everything. If you grow into a WDM retainer we can wire the card into a CRM with automated follow-up — but the data is portable either way.
