Blog traffic without leads. The content isn't broken — the bridge is missing.

A blog with traffic but no leads usually has good top-of-funnel content with no commercial bridge. Here's the four-step fix.

Why it happens

The root cause — in plain English.

Three failure modes, almost always together. The blog targets informational queries by people who will never buy ("how does solar work?"), the posts have no path to a commercial page, and the CTAs are ornamental ("contact us"). You've built the mouth of the funnel and forgotten the funnel. Traffic without intent and intent without bridge produce the same result: applause but no till ring.
How we diagnose it

The first three things we check.

We map every blog post against three tags: query intent (info / commercial / transactional), conversion path (number of internal links to a money page) and CTA quality (specific offer vs generic). The fix is rarely "write more posts." It's usually adding a contextual CTA block in the top 10 traffic posts, building topic clusters that route to commercial pillars, and rewriting two or three flagship posts to target buyer-intent queries instead of curiosity queries.
The cost of waiting

A blog generating 5,000 visits a month with a 1% CTA conversion rate produces 50 leads — same blog with a 0.1% rate produces five. The difference is one weekend of work and the gap compounds monthly.

First action this week: Open GA4, find your top 10 blog posts by traffic, and check how many have a single internal link to a commercial page above the fold. If the answer is zero, you have your fix list.
